Lyra, you may be interested to know that one of the stars of "Nowhere Boy" is Kristin Scott Thomas!  Yes, the woman we all envied for having a bath with Ralph in TEP is now playing John Lennon's Auntie Mimi..

More new films that I'd like to see:

"The Road"
"A Single Man"
"The Lovely Bones"
"The Wolfman"

More interesting films coming up in the not-too-distant future:

"I am Love", with Tilda Swinton
"The Last Station", with Christopher Plummer and Helen Mirren - about the last years of Leo Tolstoy

Any film.   Laughing  Unfortunately they project films very badly here in Italy and Can't stand they have people who don't know how to project a film running things. Also the cinemas are small and they assign seating.  gaah   And have intermission in the middle of a film.  Teardrop  So I have to wait til everything is out on DVD, which I have to order from England because some films don't come out as they do in the states.   It's just not the culture here to go to the cinema like in the states.  That really breaks my heart.
