Thank you for saying so much (specifically) about the Sudan and Darfur situation. I remember when  missionaries and others coming back to The USA were reporting on the SUdan....no one batted an eyelash...maybe ten years ago  ..even more....I can remember queries  to the disparate publications  Village Voice and Washington Post getting no response. no interest..finally through the efforts of Mr. Clooney the profile of these tragedies ands travesties was raised.
Thank God  for Celebrity........and the celebrities who speak up and garner funds.........and yes people do take the money and go into these situations and bring brainwashed bewildered(stolen for soldiers) teens back to their parents....and all that you said....one person at a time is what can be done....and it is worth it!

For each person that receives a modicum of help, thousands continue to suffer deprivation and violence. It's time the developed nations changed their approach to foreign aid or they will be parasitised indefinitely.
