FYI for those who haven't had a chance to listen to this program.  It is on the 2nd disk in the Anton Chekhov DVD collection. Oh you can also see a young Francesca Annis in The Wood Demon play.

I managed to pick up a copy from my library instead of having to purchase it.

Best,
Evelyn

Trugannini - as long as you like Chekhov, you'll enjoy the collection.  Includes Anthony Hopkins, Judi Dench, Michael Gambon, John Gielgud, Ian Holm besides the voices of Ralph, Ian McKellan, and Ewan McGregor.

It's great for theatre lovers and students alike.

Where is it possible to buy the radio-adaptation of  Ivanov? Is Ralph  in other dramas too?

Zsuzsanna - the radio adaptation is on the 2nd DVD in the Anton Chekhov collection.  See Amazon link at top of this thread.

He's done various BBC radio programs - The Aeneid, Man & Superman besides audiobooks like Oscar & Lucinda, The English Patient, T.S. Eliot's Four Quartets, Catching Life by the Throat, Rudyard Kipling readings, When Love Speaks.  All sold commercially but hard to find in a few.
